Kids’ Health – Your child’s health includes physical, mental and social well-being. Healthy eating in childhood and adolescence is important for proper growth and development and to prevent various adverse health conditions. Healthy eating habits do have an impact on mind which in turn affects the studies of a child. For this Parents need to have adequate knowledge on health and its various aspects. In today’s world of distractions kids indulge into bad eating habits which lead to diseases at an early age. This does not sound good for children as well as their parents. They get panic and due to wrong treatments, these days we see kids and adolescents suffering from Diabetes Type 1, blood pressure fluctuations, joints problems, and pains in the body, low energy, weakness and much more. In early times, healthy children were born and never suffered from major diseases but now days we see them born with deformity and diseases. During the teen age – girls need more calcium and vitamin D to build strong bones and help prevent osteoporosis later in life .

 

Young adults – girls in teenage and young women usually need more calories to support their growing and developing bodies. It is necessary to maintain a healthy adequate weight after the age of 25.

 

Before and during pregnancy – during this stage a woman needs more of a certain nutrients such as iron, calcium, protein, folic acid, to support her health and baby’s development.


During breastfeeding – a very healthy nutrition rich diet, healthy foods, good intake of water is required during breastfeeding.

 

After Menopause – lower levels of estrogen after menopause raise the risk of chronic diseases such as osteoporosis, if any wrong treatment is taken by a woman. Exposure to sunshine on daily basis is a dire need. Calcium and iron rich diet is needed to protect the bones.Nutrition-rich food provides energy to woman’s life and helps stay fit reducing the risk of disease. If a woman is healthy everyone in her family is more likely to eat healthy.
