Wellness
What is Holistic Wellness?
Wellness is a modern word with ancient roots. It is even more than what we usually define about wellness. If we look at history we find that in ancient times there were neither medicines nor doctors as we have at present. Even then the people led a happy and long life. It was a period when people naturally remained healthy. They were not weak and unhealthy as people are these days. They were physically, mentally and spiritually strong. They lived in harmony with nature. Their bond with nature was never broken. They were born in the womb of nature, they were brought up in Nature, they attained a long life and in the end happily merged with nature.
We all are aware that each one of us is a soul or say a spirit residing in the physical body. So when we talk of holistic approach to wellness it is not only about physical body but a synchronization of mind, body and soul manifested into reality of life to live it to the fullest being happy, contented, healthy and fun filled. When a person enjoys wellbeing at mental, emotional and physical level we call it Holistic Wellness. Rather, wellness is associated with an active process of being aware and making choices that lead towards an outcome for optimal holistic health and wellbeing.
Wellness is Multidimensional
